I Must Release

I must release. These 3 words have pulled at my heartstrings for some time now. Stress is a part of life; a part of my life as I'm sure it is everyone who is reading this. It's hard to let go...to give up control over things that we should be able to handle, but we must. The Bible not only teaches this, but commands it. So, why do we find it so hard to release even though God tells us he will never allow us to bear more than he knows we can handle? Is it a lack of faith? Is it a trust issue? Or maybe its simply our selfishness to allow someone to help? We each must answer that individually, but I will say this...we're obligated to release! We truly don't have a choice if we are going to abide by God's law. I, for one, will admit that its difficult for me to do so, not because I am a "Control Freak" or "Selfish", but I genuinely feel that I "should" be able to handle my own problems. I mean...God has more than enough to do, right? Maybe so, but its not my choice...its HIS...has been from the beginning. He has always known what I can and cannot handle alone so He tells me to cast my burdens on Him cause He cares for me....**Release**. I encourage all of you who read this....if you are experiencing difficulties in your life right now, or the burden of life is weighing you down, then please....turn to God....and recite to yourself....I MUST RELEASE! Remember, its not your choice!
